This depends upon the size and model considered. The popular commercial and light industrial supports up through 8” pipe size can generally be installed by one man in half-a-minute or less. The two halves, with their overlapping jackets, merely slip together over the pipe at the point of support. If for any reason, the support must be relocated, it is just as easy to remove and move, as it was to install in the first place. The larger the diameter, heavy industrial supports may require the time of two men for 15 minutes plus a welder to attach the base plate to the support structure.
