Adjustable Pipe Saddle Supports Designed for a Hydrocracker Project

PT&P supplied sixty-nine adjustable pipe saddle supports for a hydrocracker project in an oil refinery. The supports will be installed under a trunnion and range in heights from 12″ to 48″. They have 8″ diameter top plates, and are designed to support pipes from 2″ to 8″ in diameter. The supports are fabricated from carbon steel and consist of schedule 40 and 80 pipes and concentric reducers. The operating temperature for these custom designed saddle supports is 750″F. Each assembly was inspected by Q.C. prior to shipment.

G Type Constant Spring Supports Designed for a Power Plant in Mississippi

PT&P custom designed 16 G type constant spring supports for a power plant in Mississippi. The constants are comprised of two standard constant spring housing sub-assemblies joined together with an intermediate bridge assembly. They also include welded beam attachments, rods and hex nuts. The assemblies are designed to support pipes ranging from 80″ – 96″ in diameter. Standard load and travel tests were performed prior to shipment.

Insulated Pipe Supports Designed for 6" Dia. Cold Temperature Piping

These insulated pipe supports are designed for 6″ diameter cold temperature piping for a gas refinery in Texas. They are fabricated with a carbon steel shell and 5″ thick polyurethane insulation. PT&P offers various types of insulated supports utilizing insulating materials designed for piping ranging in surface temperatures from -460°F to 1,200°F.

72 Bolt Cradle Pipe Supports Designed for a Sulphuric Acid Plant

PT&P manufactured seventy-two bolt cradle pipe supports for a Sulphuric Acid Plant in Canada. The supports are designed for pipes ranging from 1-1/2″ to 20″ in diameter. They are fabricated from carbon steel and coated with a special protective paint for acid service. Standard bolt cradle supports are offered in 2″ to 24″ diameter pipe sizes; however, PT&P can manufacture any size needed for your application.

112 Custom Variable Springs Designed for a Furnace Application in Venezuela

112 custom variable springs designed for a furnace application for an oil refinery in Venezuela. The furnace cans are designed from carbon steel and painted with red oxide primer to prevent corrosion when exposed to high temperatures. The sizes of these figures PTP-6 and PTP-8 range in length from 25″- 39″, with a total travel of 0.1″- 1.821″ and loads varying from 430 – 681 lb. A load test to confirm the spring rate was conducted on each assembly prior to shipment.

Cold Insulated Pipe Anchors with Axial Stops

Cryogenic pipe supports, ranging in diameter from 6″ to 38″, were designed to support and insulate piping in an LNG receiving and regassification plant. The “cold shoe anchors” were designed for temperatures down to -260°F and a load range of 26,000 lb. to 210,000 lb. A combination of high density polyurethane foam (PUF) and Permali® was used for the insulation. The center stops that are welded to the process pipe were built from 304 stainless steel, and carbon steel was used for the remainder of the shoe.
